WeBop CD packaging - Lincoln Center

I designed the packaging for this WeBop CD put out by Jazz at Lincoln Center. It's a collection of fun jazz tunes for kids. I am very happy with how this turned out. I've got a couple editorial jobs on the way...as well as some other big projects that I can't just show yet.

Relaxation!

A quick little drawing I made last week....my favorite subject matter (no surprise haha). A number of people were interested in buying this as a print so I've made it available for purchase.

drawing at the met

I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art yesterday just to relax and draw a bit...drawing Greek & Roman sculpture has always been something I love to do. No matter how crazy and expressive some of my drawings get, I always get urges to go to the museum and draw from life.

The Day the Earth Threw Up

I don't know why but I got inspired to write a little cute story to accompany this illustration. Enjoy!
Hello little french fry, sitting on the floor.
Hello soda pop, rolling down the street.
Hello toxic waste, swimming in the river.
Hello plastic bag, swinging on the branches.
Hello all you cars, waiting on the highway.
Hello lumberjacks, chipping and chopping trees.

Hello little ocean, how are you feeling?
Hello little forest, how is your day?
Hello little beach, how is it going?

Hello little Earth, tell me, what's the matter?
Hello little Earth, are you feeling sick?

We're sorry, little Earth, we promise we'll do better!

I designed this poster for the Jersey City Art School...they just built/planted a cool garden in the backyard of their building and plan to host movie-watching there! Here are the first two on the line-up.

Beer & Bacon Festival

I created this print for the Beer and Bacon Festival in Boston that just passed by. A number of artists were asked to create prints inspired by the food and drinks of the festival. These were exhibited and for sale...there are still a couple left, which you can purchase online. CLICK HERE.

Evergreen Jim & Tulip

I'm very excited to announce the release of a zine I worked on a while ago, called "Evergreen Jim & Tulip: Ain't No Mountain High Enough". It's a love story that takes place in the Pacific Northwest...published by PikaBooks. Some picture are below...but there's a nice and long interview on the Pikaland Blog... CLICK HERE FOR INTERVIEW.
