MulttiClique Interview

I was interviewed by an online magazine MulttiClique in Brazil. I took some screenshots and posted them below. I like how they chose to layout my illustrations. If you speak Portuguese, you'll understand my answers...they translated them from English!

Stickers!!!

Take a look at these cool stickers I designed for Cafe con Leche - run by Roi y Ines in Mexico! Together they create some amazing artwork. On their site you see they sell their own work and also stickers by a wide variety of illustrators! I was super excited to work with them to create these - you can buy them HERE. When you buy them you support both myself and Cafe con Leche - two good causes, hahah.

Golden Globes

I tried to draw some portraits while watching the Golden Globes this past Sunday. It was pretty tough, some of the actors/actresses were only on screen for maybe a minute, moving all the while. Not all the people below are recognizable celebrities (some are behind the scenes people) - but you can probably recognize three or four of them (my more successful ones, in terms of getting a likeness).

india powders

My brother brought back some brightly colored powders from India and I recently tried to paint with them as watercolors...which didn't work too well. But I think this came out interestingly anyways! If anyone knows the kind of powers I am talking about and knows how to use them...please let me know.

MoMA Proposal

These are some design concepts I created for a pitch that Stefan Beckman is making for the annual MoMA Garden Party. It was fun and challenging, since it something I normally don't do. My personal favorite is the one I used hand-painted letters in...

Horse Portraits

This is a little personal project I've been working on....I love horses and I decided to do a series of horse portraits based off the names of carpets at Home Depot. Yes, believe it or not, the names of all these horses came from a catalog of carpet samples at Home Depot. I don't know who wanted to get all ridiculous with these carpet names, but they inspired me to create this - so thank you wherever you are!

I'd love to take this concept and try and get this published or have a gallery show with it. For now, just enjoy!
