Society of Illustrators 51

I just found out yesterday that I got two pieces in the the Society of Illustrators!!!
Below are the two winning pieces - the tattooman got into Editorial and the crazy face got into Uncommissioned!
I'm so excited to go to the openings for both nights!

photoshop face

all drawn in photoshop with mouse only. i guess this is related to yesterday's post- with limited supplies (or technology).
its simple - but i enjoyed making it - although my mouse skills are not quite up to par.

A quick little piece done in pencil and crayola crayon (believe it or not). I did this one when I didn't have my usual supplies at my disposal. I think its fun to sometimes create something with limited options.

A concert poster done for The Bellamy Brother's concert coming up in Texas. It was enjoyable working with an client with a nice southern accent. :)

a bit of hand drawn lettering for Worn Magazine up in Canada. The article is a series of photos featuring modern prom fashion - (but don't think cheezy high school style - think more along the lines of hipster - style).
