this image and concept has probably been done a million times already - but there is nothing i love drawing more than muscular men....so forgive me! this was just a quick sketch that i colored on photoshop for my personal enjoyment. hopefully you like it too.

on a very happy note, I found out today that I got into American Illustration #27!! This most certainly made my week.
I will also be featured in the Creative Quarterly #11 - illustration section of course.

working with typefaces

so i was given the project to create a cover letter that can also serve as a poster for the Happy Corp. At first I tried to include all my cover letter text (already written) - but it simply wouldn't translate well as a poster. I also really wanted to incorporate SOMETHING hand-drawn - since that is so important to me - so I redid the whole thing as a chart/diagram/type thing. it was actually really enjoyable. i'm beginning to get the hang of indesign.
