indiana- kevin- WOW
first comes first - here is my indiana jones final. as you can see, it ended up looking different from either of my sketches. I took the outfit from the first lady and put it to the background of the second - cut her hair, and changed the pose to be a more casual one.
THEN - the many pieces of clothing are sketches for a wardrobe I am supposed to create from of my classmates (kevin). I like how loose they are and I'm trying to figure out a way to take this to final without losing that energy and playfulness.
And the last piece is for my Words on Wheels poem. Hopefully this will end up on MTA public transportation.

thesis piece 2 + BEASTS2!!!!!!
here is the second piece for my thesis project - this one came a bit easier than the first, probably because i knew how i was going to approach it. colors may change - i'm not sure yet.
and the second piece is my submission for Beasts 2! I chose to the beast of gevaudan, from France - he was a giant dog/wolf/beast who terrorized people on the countryside - usually woman and children who worked on farm fields.
apparently he killed several hundred people! read more on wikipedia if you like.

two sketches for indiana jones 08!
two pencil sketches for an upcoming fashion illustration project - basically, I need to create an illustration that will convey the mood of the upcoming Indiana Jones movie with one female model in modern clothing. Since there is no preview out yet - i'm limited to some screen shots and all the previous indy movies (which i love). finals will be up once its done!

bpm hipster illustrations
i had a very exciting job to do for BPM magazine - they asked me to do a three page illustration/layout for an article about hipsters and the current state of "cool". The article itself was pretty interesting and well-written, so I had a good time making these illustrations. I ended up doing a lot of research on hipster-clothing/parties...which was enlightening. hahaha.

3 mongolian fashion illustrations and MORE
so, basically the assignment was to choose a time and location - then find current fashions that would be appropriate or inspired by this time/location - and make illustrations! I chose Mongolia during Ghenghis Khan's time.
The other illustration is the first in a series of illustrations I am doing for one of my mom's poems "Weeping Beech Park".
